Senior Account Manager


Yieldbot has created a technology that understands real-time consumer intent within premium publisher content. Yieldbot is a cookie-less first party analytics solution directly integrated with the web's top publishers leading to the ability to make real-time ad matching decisions in order to show consumers the most relevant ads. Yieldbot is the first channel that has connected the tactics of search buying with premium publishers, and is the only digital marketing platform that rivals the performance of search.

Yieldbot is based in the heart of New York City and is backed by SJF Ventures, RRE Ventures, NewAtlantic Ventures, KBS+P Ventures, Betaworks, Common Angels and Neu Venture Capital.

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the client relationship. The Senior AM wil provide day-to-day product support to our clients, help train newer members of the AM team, and provide strategic growth of key business relationships by proactively recommending opportunities, driving client solutions and upselling Yieldbot's product offerings.

The ideal candidate will have ad tech/agency experience, great project management skills, technical expertise, hands on experience handling tracking and ad tags, and a consultative approach to addressing client needs.


  • Leads all aspects of client relationship, facilitating discussions internally & externally with key stakeholders to assist in solution development and rollout
  • Develops deep understanding of client needs and business objectives to lead development of account and provide product feedback on their behalf
  • Proactively drives account value by:
  • Selling new or additional products or services to current clients; and/or
  • Finding new revenue opportunities within the existing customer base; and/or
  • Providing exceptional service and insight to ensure retention
  • Acts as internal client expert and partner by working closely with product development, sales, R&D;, and platform solutions to drive platform innovation
  • Actively builds long-term business relationships with client partners
  • Proactively manages customer satisfaction and service delivery by anticipating potential service problems, and monitoring client satisfaction.
  • Mentors AM's to groom their professional development and ensure alignment with company goals
  • Provides analysis/insights, thorough QA, and technical support to ensure smooth campaign


  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years of client-facing experience in the digital media/online publisher space
  • A solid understanding of web technologies and the digital media revenue ecosystem , including web advertising measurements and analytics
  • Outstanding relationship management and customer service skills
  • Strong analytical skills to collect business intelligence by conversing with clients and monitoring/identifying trends in data and in generated reports
  • Highly motivated, proactive, dedicated and creative in order to pull all necessary resources for the client
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and other technical code such as basic JavaScript and HTML is a plus
  • Experience working in ad operations and/or with DFA, DS, or other Doubleclick products is a plus
