Director of Midwest Sales

Location: Chicago

Yieldbot has created a revolutionary technology that’s able to predict the types of marketing messages people want to see — often before people themselves realize they need or want to see them. Not only do we show the most relevant ad for a user’s “intent,” but we display those ads across a channel of highly desirable premium publishers, all using 1st party data.

Yieldbot is based in the heart of New York City and is backed by SJF Ventures, RRE Ventures, New Atlantic Ventures, KBS+P Ventures, Betaworks, Common Angels and Neu Venture Capital.

Yieldbot is looking for a Director of Midwest Sales to lead the company’s relationships with agencies and marketers in Midwest markets. The role will report directly to the SVP of Sales and Business Development. Having the ability to penetrate the Midwest’s major CPG marketers is essential to the company’s strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Midwest sales strategy and execution
  • Set and exceed aggressive quarterly revenue goals
  • Work strategically across the company with account management, product and engineering teams
  • Possibility of regular travel
  • Represent Yieldbot at industry events and occasions and contribute to the profile of the company overall

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of digital sales experience at agencies and marketers of all types in Midwest
  • Expertise in all areas of digital performance marketing
  • Experience selling to the major CPG brands in the Midwest including P&G;, Kellogg’s, Kraft and their respective agencies
  • Deep understanding of the ad tech environment
  • Some understanding of SEM a plus
  • Self starter who can work in a very fast moving environment
  • Person of high character
