Platform Operations – Optimization Strategist

Share:

Location: New York, NY

Yieldbot has created a revolutionary technology that’s able to predict the types of marketing messages people want to see — often before people themselves realize they need or want to see them. Not only do we show the most relevant ad for a user’s “intent,” but we display those ads across a channel of highly desirable premium publishers, all using 1st party data.

Now we’re looking for the right Optimization Strategist to help us meet the needs of our existing advertisers and aid in growing the number of advertisers on our platform. The right candidate will be able to do everything from analyzing campaigns, pull in-depth reporting, provide insights into the performance of their campaigns and assist in product development.

This is a research-focused yet people-oriented position that demands both smarts and the ability to manage complex projects. You’ll work with all internal teams to build, analyze and optimize campaigns while also helping with product development.

This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal part in building an ad tech startup from the bottom up. Fast learners with a passion for advertising, technology and startups are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for portfolio of campaigns and own campaign launch and optimization process
  • Discover trends through platform and campaign analysis and implement strategies to improve campaign and company performance
  • Acquire deep knowledge of key industries and verticals, competitive landscapes, client products, and key business issues and work with internal stakeholders to influence Yieldbot growth and focus
  • Aid product and engineering teams in developing the Yieldbot Product
  • Function as the “expert” in client communications and contribute to up-selling of campaigns
  • Assist the sales and strategy team in developing customized analysis that provides clients with in-depth information concerning campaign statistics and available inventory

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 1 year of experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting or media
  • Superior analytical skills
