Sales Planner

Yieldbot has created a revolutionary technology that’s able to predict the types of marketing messages people want to see — often before people themselves realize they need or want to see them. Not only do we show the most relevant ad for a user’s “intent,” but we display those ads across a channel of highly desirable premium publishers, all using 1st party data.

Now we’re looking for the right sales planner to help us meet the needs of our existing advertisers and aid in growing the number of advertisers on our platform. The right candidate will be able to do everything from helping salespeople close new deals to working with our optimization team to pull reporting and gain insight into the performance of those campaigns once live.

This is a research-focused yet highly people-oriented position that demands both smarts and charm. You’ll work with our strategists to research and customize proposals for our biggest sales opportunities. You’ll also assist in developing report-based presentations to ensure those advertisers receive world class account service. Your primary goal as sales planner is to ensure every pre-sale opportunity turns into a robust client by assisting our sales and strategy teams through every step of the sales process.

This is a unique opportunity to learn sales at an ad tech startup from the bottom up. Fast learners with a passion for advertising, technology and startups are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales and strategy team in developing customized research-based proposals and providing clients with information concerning campaign statistics and inventory availability.
  • Launch campaigns on Yieldbot by acting as trafficking contact and spearheading asset collection
  • Track each campaign that goes live on Yieldbot through until renewal, working closely with our sales strategists to create weekly status reports and end-of-campaign learnings.
  • Acquire deep knowledge of our key industries and verticals, their competitive landscapes, client products and key business issues and share internally.
  • Aid our product and designer teams in developing client presentations and new marketing collateral using industry, marketing and third-party research to enhance Yieldbot’s reputation in the advertising marketplace.
