Overview

The Technical Solutions Engineer, reporting to the CTO, will be responsible for integrating and supporting publisher and advertiser partners that sell or buy ­­­inventory in the Yieldbot platform. Part of an external-facing team, the Technical Solutions Engineer is tasked with helping Yieldbot’s partners integrate our advertising solutions with a wide variety of ad serving and tracking platforms across desktop and mobile.

Responsibilities:

  • On-boarding of new publishers and guiding them through the implementation process, working closely with Engineering and Operations.
  • Achieve deep understanding of the Yieldbot platform and marketplace from a technical and business perspective.
  • Provide developer support to external clients using a variety of analytical and technical tools including diagnosing ad server issues, developing and debugging JavaScript code, test latency etc.
  • Partner with clients and coordinate with Engineering teams to understand and develop solutions for high-impact, high-visibility issues.
  • Upsell Yieldbot capabilities into new publisher inventory sources, including new web sites and new ad positions.
  • Provide account management support to publishers including reporting and account maintenance.
  • Understand key publisher and advertiser ad serving issues to develop new opportunities and processes for Yieldbot.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in ad operations, and media business processes in a client-facing role, ideally working with both pub-side and ad-side systems, including third-party tracking tools.
  • A thorough understanding of the digital media ecosystem, ad operations, yield optimization platforms, ad serving platforms, and analytics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues related to ad serving (html, javascript, CSS).
  • Strong, admin level experience in DFP, OAS, or other ad serving platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, particularly in making technical requirements easy for clients and non-technical partners to understand.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a global, distributed team environment.
  • Client focused with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with staff at all levels.
  • Must be an exceptional problem solver.
