The Role:

The VP of Marketing at Yieldbot is responsible for leading all marketing initiatives for our high growth ad tech startup. Working with our Design and Product teams, The VP will both develop a high level marketing strategy while also rolling up her or his sleeves to drive the production of compelling visual and creative content.

All the while, the VP will keep a keen eye on data as it relates to each marketing objective while optimizing it based on pre-defined metrics of success.

Other specific responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and strategy development of all integrated marketing efforts in coordination with the executive team
  • Working with our PR firm to get the right people talking about and working with Yieldbot
  • Crafting compelling, consistent language across all marketing channels to best describe Yieldbot’s value proposition
  • Driving content production across everything from our website to sales collateral and email marketing
  • Leading our direct marketing, SEO and SEM, display advertising, and retargeting efforts
  • Developing our content and social media strategies
  • Running Yieldbot hosted events as well as driving conference and panel attendance for our employees
  • Owning, developing and maintaining our marketing budget
  • Analyzing digital activities and opportunities across customer acquisition and retention activities and optimizing against those metrics

About You:

You’re excited to join a rapidly growing startup. A sharp, strategic thinker, you’re also a doer who has no ego when it comes to digging into day-to-day work in the trenches. You’re a talented, creative writer who has an appreciation for good visual design (and knowing Photoshop and InDesign doesn’t hurt, though it’s not necessary).

Other pluses include understanding a wide variety of marketing channels (from SEM, content syndication and research analytics to email marketing etc.).

Must love data and understand how to use apply it when it comes to all things marketing.
